Monaco!

We ended our amazing day in Monaco. We climbed to the top of the fort, found some great planking opportunities, and as we came back down we found a Fish Spa booth. Have you heard of this? These tiny fish eat the dead skin off your feet. Amy and I had wanted to do it for awhile so we seized the opportunity! It felt strange and tickled a bit. Finally, we creeped around the Monte Carlo casino for a bit before going home.

Italia, te amo!

How I loved Italy. We went to a little town called Vetimiglia. We swam in the Mediterranean sea,

ate pizza and drank cappuccino. I bought an Italian Vogue... seemed like the correct thing to do. Italy smells like licorice and everyone is glowing. The man at the pizza place asked us if we spoke English to which Amy and I both replied, "Oui." Perfetto! 

Nice is nice!

My co-worker, Amy and I work for a family as ABA behavioral therapists for an autistic boy. It is rare that we get a day off together. The heavens smiled down upon us and we were given a day together. We planned to go to Nice for the day until Amy mentioned that Italy was only an half hour away. We started the day in Nice, had a late lunch in Italy, and then ended the night in Monaco.  A truly special day.

One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the president’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, “Why was he so interested in talking to you.” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant,” to which Michelle responded, “No. If I had married him, he would now be the President.”
